Generally the poorest people in all countries involved.
So, how many people is Trump killing in this trade war?
That likely will never be known fully.
How would this manifest in the U.S.?
Let's say your poorer relative needs to buy a medical instrument to stay alive.
This medical instrument is ONLY made in China but now for 20% to 50% more you can now buy one made in the U.S.
But, the health insurance company for your relative only allows 20% to 50% less for this instrument or they won't buy it for the patient because they haven't caught up to the trade war yet.
So, your relative dies without his or her needed medical instrument. In the U.S. this is how people will die a lot.
In other countries the tariffs caused a man to get fired from his job. He cannot pay his bills because he lost his job. His family goes homeless. one of his children dies of pneumonia on the streets. The man gives up and kills himself. His wife and other child are left alone to roam the streets.
Multiply this by millions and you have a Trade War.
This is why it is called a "Trade WAR" because people die in trade wars just not from guns and cannons and mortars and hand grenades.
A Trade war between Japan and the U.S. was one of the causes of Pearl Harbor and our entrance into World War II by the way.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
