Some of the languages that came from Sanskrit

Hindi is the first one off the top of my head
Tibetan is another Sanskrit based language
Also, this is surprising but Russian is also a Sanskrit based language.

There are also, likely more than this it's just I didn't study this language in college.

But, my friend did at UCLA from around 1969 until 1976 when he got his master's degree in history of religion specializing in Buddhism and Sanskrit. We used to drive by the Shambala book store in Berkeley back then on our way to climb in Mt. Shasta. It was the only store he knew of then to buy Sanskrit books  from then.
