Abortion mostly is a problem only where there isn't overpopulation in places like China and Africa. So, the abortion problem is a western democracy problem primarily on earth but not always.
Being anti-abortion usually means you are not a world traveler and have not seen just how overpopulated the rest of the world is already. Most of the larger wild animals on Earth presently are going extinct primarily because of overpopulation of humans on earth.
So, there is a direct co-relation between the number of humans on earth and the mass extinction of Wild large animals like Tigers, Lions, Rhinos, Great Apes etc.
But, if you are living in a state where there is still lots of room (like someone in the middle of the U.S.) you might think that everywhere on earth is like where you live. Nope, it isn't.
Places like the U.S. and parts of Europe are the exception rather than the rule.
I did research recently and figured out that there would presently be about 14 to 16 billion people on earth right now without abortion. This doesn't mean that there were 8 billion abortions it just means that the average person has about 2 kids every generation and a generation is considered between 20 and 25 years as a cycle. So, I just figured from the time of Roe Versus Wade that human extinction likely would have occured some time in the 1980s without abortion worldwide already.
So, the likelyhood would be the human race at present would be extinct without abortion right now.
So, the useful way to view abortion is that it is (worldwide) the ONLY presently useful alternative to human extinction except for World Wars.
But, because of nuclear weapons we cannot have anymore world wars.
So, World Wide Abortions are now the ONLY alternative acceptable to enough of mankind to prevent human extinction probably 30 or more years ago already.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
