Highest elevation I have found in Florida Panhandle: 105 meters or well over 300 feet in elevation.
Orlando: elevation 82 feet
Miami: 6 to 7 feet
Ft. Lauderdale 9 feet
Pompano Beach 13 feet
West Palm Beach 13 feet
Daytona Beach 13 feet
St. Augustine zero feet
Jacksonville 16 feet
I'm thinking that cities on the inside of the Gulf of Mexico are relatively more protected from Storms than those open to the whole Atlantic Ocean. So, it is possible that the last to be eaten away by storms will be on the Gulf of Mexico Side of Florida.
So, you see the whole Atlantic Ocean side of Florida is very vulnerable to storms along with these cities. The highest elevation in the panhandle is 105 meters or over 300 feet but I'm thinking that the highest elevation in mainland Florida might be about 100 feet in the center of the peninsula. So, it is theoretically possible that an earthquake and Tsunami could hit the Azores or Spain and send a 100 foot Tsunami that would hit the east coast and go all the way over to ocean in the Gulf of Mexico non-stop.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
