a 612 pound Blue fin tuna went for 3.1 million dollars in Tokyo

In other words Blue Fin Tuna are now on the edge of extinction like many other sea and land creatures.

I found this out at Time magazine in a blurb on "On the record"page 6 Januray 21st 2019.
