Over the years there have been many close calls in flights I have been on. For example, when we landed on Kauai in September we landed sideways because of wind shear. If we hadn't had a really good pilot with lightning quick reactions we would have crashed or slid off the runway into the ocean. These kinds of things are much more common now worldwide than before and caused by Global Climate changes worldwide.
