Since because of white abortions and the use of birth control pills there are less and less white people having babies because it is just too expensive to have kids these days, Republicans are totally freaked out about this and are trying to force white women (and all women) to have babies now by preventing abortions and other means.
The main weapon against too many other nationalities and races and of preventing them voting is voter suppression. The Democrats don't do this ONLY the Republicans through the courts anyway they can by the way.
So, the way they do this is through Republican Judges open to voter suppression across the U.S. especially in Southern States but recently they did this in I believe Wisconsin:

So, the main reason Republicans are very very into Voter suppression is that they want to try to get Trump re-elected so you will see 10s or 100s of efforts in various states now to disenfranchise black or hispanic or Asian voters especially from voting at all.
Republicans are trying to create a White Dictatorship mostly because they just don't have the votes to stay in power in a fair election vote anymore. They have to use tricks like the Electoral college but soon that will not be possible either in a fair voting fight because of the number of non-white babies being born and coming into the U.S. in various ways.
Republicans CANNOT elect Trump in any fair way at this point so forcing him to be president through Putin's manipulation of the votes is what they are doing now to create a U.S. Dictatorship under Trump.
