definition of Noblesse Oblige (and the opposite of Noblesse Oblige that we see in Trump and his enablers)
Before I give you the definition I wanted to write here a little about noblesse oblige. This is especially true now that we see the "OPPOSITE" of Noblesse Oblige in Trump and those who supported his "road to Anarchy or Fascism".
Is Noblesse Oblige good? Yes. It is the very foundation of civilization itself where those who are often more intelligent and better positioned help those who are less intelligent and not as well positioned. It is how civilization has always flourished with those more privileged helping those less privileged worldwide.
And then there are people like Trump who lie and cheat the less privileged constantly as a way of life and who even cheated his niece and nephew out of their inheritance when their father died. So, he found a way to harm his older brother and his children even after his older brother died. Understanding how selfish a person has to be to do this might be important here for all of us to learn.
The people who rioted at the capitol and tried to kill Pence and Pelosi (Republican and democrat) Trump also promised to join them at the capitol in doing this too. But, instead he went to the White House and watched them riot on TV and then didn't send ANY police or backup to save the lives of Pence or other House or Senate members.
The result is that Trump BETRAYED the people he sent to. the Capitol to kill Pence and Pelosi and they are all going to prison and possibly getting coronavirus and dying in prison from it. Also, many rioters likely will get coronavirus including police and Senators and Congress people from Trump and others doing this too.
In other words by encouraging these rioters he created a Super spreader event that will likely also kill Police, Rioters, Congress People and Senators during the next 2 to 3 months or members of their families and friends and other innocent U.S. Citizens.
Here is Noblesse Oblige which is the opposite of Trump and those who encouraged the taking of the Capitol.
