It's windy today and supposed to rain tomorrow

I woke up to light clouds going by kind of quickly with scattered sunshine enough to be warm on my back porch and large deck earlier this morning. Our dog wanted to play doggie soccer but I wasn't up or it yet and then I got an important call too on my smartphone.

The wind is supposed to lead into some rain tomorrow but not another Atmospheric River this time which is good because the last one last week buried more than 25 houses in mud and injured one person and cut the Highway 1 near Big Sur likely for the next 6 months until the storms stop and it is safe to be repaired. The problem is that the rain went through the Dolan Fire area and brought mud and water that undermined the road and then it collapsed with no dirt or rocks left under it because it had all washed into the ocean about 1000 feet below. Now there is a 100 foot wide or more stretch of road  completely gone permanently until a way is found to either cut the road deeper into the cliffs there or building the base up all the way from the ocean either one or the other or both.
