Covid Fatigue has struck us all worldwide whether people know it or not it is just a fact of life.
I have written before how covid fatigue is a lot like "Battle Fatigue" of world war II and since the Viet Nam War we have called this PTSD or "Post Traumatic Stress Disorder".
It doesn't mean people are stark raving mad or lunatics but it does mean we all are a bit eccentric more than we were before from going through all this.
Everything we experience changes our behavior in one way or another. For example, I have had jobs especially in my 20s which would be mostly the 1970s that gave me a form of PTSD and I couldn't wait to quit those jobs as a result. I have found in my own life that owning my own businesses is much less likely to give me PTSD than many jobs would.
So, that is the direction I went in because I had studied enough psychology that I knew I wanted to try to be psychologically healthy for myself and my family and my friends.
So, part of surviving these times is knowing when you are a bit off from everything happening to you and finding ways to compensate for that so you don't just get more eccentric than you can survive long term.
That's a good way to put it.
In other words it is likely that the coronavirus isn't going to last forever, so realizing this and preparing for a better future will leave you more sane than you might be if you don't prepare for a better life in the future than the one you are presently living.
The thing is there are many many unknowns not only in each of our personal lives but also collectively in all our lives worldwide. But, just sitting around worrying about unknowns isn't going to help you at all unless you have actual facts to work with on a daily basis.
And even then the saying: "I'm going to sleep on it" is very very useful because if you give yourself a chance often by (literally sleeping on it) you are going to come up with answers as your better angels give you ideas of how to solve your problems as you sleep.
By God's Grace
