If you fully understand what is happening regarding Coronavirus worldwide it is both encouraging and terrifying at the same time

First of all we now know that covid-19 had 13 variants as of December 19th 2019 in Wuhan China. This likely means that this virus didn't start in Wuhan at all but somewhere else in China or somewhere else on earth and could have started up to 1 year or more before December 19th 2019.

Next we know that 2 million people were vaccinated in one day this week which is a good thing. However, if you are between 65 and 74 like my wife and I likely you have NOT been able to obtain even one Vaccine dose yet even if you spent 1 hour a day in the morning trying to arrange and appointment for the two of us like my wife has the last few weeks every morning. However, our neighbors who are over 80 (two couples now) have both vaccinations somehow but each have a member of the family who is a doctor also.

However, we know that one of our friends under 70 has gotten two vaccines and likely two of my wife's friends from college have also likely gotten two vaccines by now at Dodger Stadium. However, this is the total list of people we know who are vaccinated in the entire state of California at this point.

So, people getting vaccinations who are over 80 is a good thing. but people under between 69 and 74 are not able to get a vaccine for 80% to 90% of them who want it right now here in California.

However, if 13 variants existed in China before Decemer 2019 and they say that now there are literally thousands of variants now worldwide with the UK and the South African and the Brazil one being the best known and most famous of these it is downright discouraging in the long run that all these variants exist because it is unlikely that the vaccine will prevent all of them.

The other problem is that the very worst versions of the variants don't arise in cities but in remote areas for some reason that are the worst and the most fatal for people. So, it isn't the cities on earth that you have to worry about it is the rural and suburban areas on earth where the very worst variations of Covid will naturally arise.

So, even though the vaccines are helping some for now without boosters designed for every sort of variant traveling the world now the world is in trouble.

And 80% to 90% of the world is not even going to get any vaccine until 2024 because of funding at this point. And as long as there is ANY country not vaccinated enough the whole world potentially will still be in trouble long term.

So, until the whole world defeats this virus maybe by 2025 or 2030 the whole world is in trouble and people likely are going to have to still wear masks and be careful (at the very least).
