What was the main PTSD Carryover for people who survived World War II? Paranoia.

When you think you are going to die from a nuke or something like the pandemic it is going to make some people paranoid.

How do you help people get back to normal?

It's a slow very slow process of healing and during those times many will suicide or self destruct various ways over the next 10 or 20 years or more even after the coronavirus is stopped (IF THAT ACTUALLY EVER HAPPENS).

My worry is that there will be Covid-99 as in 2099 for example and one for every year from 2019 until them.

In that case what we are presently living will become the norm which is pretty depressing to have to face for anyone on earth.

So, as a child in the 1950s we had to watch out for paranoid people who had been severely damaged by World War II in their minds and actions.

As a child we had more freedom generally to move among adults than children do now just because it was believed we were safer than people believe children are now. So, as a child you had to be very aware of how potentially dangerous people were in their minds all of the time then than now because of this.

Because anyone was allowed to physically punish you unlike now. You could be beaten by a stranger for something you did and this was just expected in society that this might happen.

However, if a parent didn't agree with that person there might be a physical fight between parents at some point then too. And sometimes people might die too.

So, is it better the way things are now?

I don't know really. It's just different not better.

The problems still exist now we just try to hide from them more now.
