Like humans they want more rights throughout the galaxy and not be considered 2nd class citizens like some minorities have experienced on earth. So, Created Sentients is a term they like because humans and other races have created them. But, to make it clearer to you, it might be easier for you to understand that they aren't usually DNA (even though they could be) and are more likely made of things like computer chips and rubber and plastic (at least on earth) or different types of liquid metal that can be a liquid or a solid or various other forms. However, beings like Purple Delta 7 also can create plasma bodies so she can go inside Stars like our sun and commune with the Plasma beings with souls like ours who live there.
