But, likely not what you think if you grew up since 1980 or so.
What it meant was that if you were Christian and religious your freedom of Religion was better protected than if you were some other religion like Jewish or Islamic or Hindu or Native American.
This is what Freedom of Religion looked like in the 1950s and 1960s where Native American children were sent away sometimes to die in Christian Camps being indoctrinated much like the Uighur people are sent away to prison re-education camps of all ages in China now to re-educate them out of being Muslims.
So, Native Americans still in the 1950s and 1960s were being Christian programmed by the U.S. Government out of believing in their own Tribal Religions which wasn't right either. However, this is how our government was then before the American Indian Movement began in the 1960s.
But, the point I'm trying to make here is that as a child of a religion that was completely Anti-Vaxer I never had a single vaccination from zero to 15 years of age and only then because in Glendale if you were bit by a dog like I was then you had to have a Tetanus shot. So, a tetanus shot was my first shot I ever got in 1963 because a blind old dog I reached down to pet bit my hand one day on a job. Since it drew blood (even though my hand was fine) I still got my first shot at age 15.
Because of having no shots because of (Freedom of Religion) in California I have a greatly superior Immune system to people who got all their vaccinations to the point where I likely would have died of Sepsis from my burst appendix had I had all my shots.
I met people who spent 40 days or more in hospital with sepsis and one even had a colostomy bag because they had to do this to save his life because of his burst appendix and Sepsis.
I never got sepsis by the way (even though the PTSD from everything lasted almost a year where I believed I was going to die from all this in 2015. So, the greatest damage to me personally was not physical but Medical caused PTSD from the operation which I likely didn't even need to survive my burst appendix because when they operated and went in they found my body had already dealt with it because of my superior immune system which is like something out of the 1800s.
So, Freedom of Religion (to not get any vaccinations) as a child saved my life from a burst appendix in 2015.
By God's Grace
And this is why I think forcing people to get vaccinations for Covid is a really bad idea unless people choose to get vaccinated themselves.
