“There’s Something About Mary” star Cameron Diaz might also agree that there’s something about Montecito, CA. The retired actress and her musician husband, Benji Madden, have joined a crowd of fellow A-listers and snapped up a vacation home in the tony seaside enclave, according to the website Dirt.
Notable neighbors include Oprah Winfrey, Gwyneth Paltrow, and Ellen DeGeneres, among other celebrities.
Diaz and Madden dropped $12.67 million on a six-bedroom, 10-bathroom mansion spanning almost 11,000 square feet.
Built around 2000, the home underwent a “jaw-dropping transformation” and was offered totally turnkey.
The couple can look forward to easy living at their new retreat, where they can relax, enjoy the star’s line of organic wines, and take in the “inspiring” ocean, island, and mountain views.
