For example, when I was about 27 years old I went on business with my father to Gila Bend, Arizona in 120 plus heat Fahrenheit where the low temperature was around 100 degrees at daybreak. We camped out in the back of our pickup truck so we wouldn't be stung by scorpions or bitten by rattlesnakes at night. The crust in my t-shirt I wore while we were there became stiff under the armpits with salt from sweat to the point where it was scratching my underarms and chaffing. I survived the few days there by dipping my t-shirt in sulphur water that the local animals drank brought up by a windmill installed by the Arizona state government and riding my dualsport motorcycle fast down dry washes to cool down so I didn't go into heat prostration during the hottest parts of the day.
However, I think we were only there likely 2 days and 2 nights back then in likely 1975 or so during the summer. If this had gone on for more days without air conditioning because we were camped out in the back of our pickup truck to avoid scorpions and rattlesnakes at night while assaying mining ore along with a backhoe operator we likely wouldn't have been okay doing this.
However, all around the world people without air conditioners will be in these kinds of situations They might survive a few days here and there in above 100 degree temperatures but not several weeks or a months of this and keep their brains and bodies working. I think after reading the China article that literally thousands of people in China and throughout the world will be dead from the heat by September and October of this year the way this is presently going.
