Regarding Harry's son "Bridget?" One of the many names for his son along the way was Merle by the way until finally this little girl says he is a bridge between humans and his species of aliens which causes him to name his son "Bridget?"
This is a very funny series which might be the right way to approach really serious topics for many people around the world. I think that is why this series is so popular because it does it really well.
My question would be: "Why does he send his son home on one of the Grey's escape pods. I know why he remains here on earth but from how he describes the beings on his planet couldn't his son get eaten? Or does this confer on his son a special place in their culture because his culture has given earth to the Greys?
There are many questions about this that I have. Even though by taking human form which is a version of how octopi change colors I guess, why would him being able to change into a human being make him feel more like a human eventually?
Also, how does Bridget get spawned between the artist lover human in New York City and the Harry of the future who comes back through time through a portal? They don't explain that enough to make full sense to me. But, then again part of the beauty of this series "Resident Alien" is all the ambiguities partly explained and partly not through various kinds of humor and connectivity.
This series does a job of dealing with aliens in a funny way that Men in Black has always dealt with serious alien issues that Earth likely has always dealt with from alien nations from other planets or dimensions since before earth had an atmosphere or water.
My point of view is that there has never been a time when aliens weren't here and that we ourselves are at least part alien too.
