So, it's important to have one. I would prefer a different one than McCarthy because I don't personally trust him like I have Pelosi. John Boehner I felt was trustworthy but McCarthy tries to be everything to everyone and winds up with nothing so I don't trust him to help the people of the U.S. as a direct result.
The promises he has made to crazy rightests who nominate Trump as speaker, for example, shows just how much he is not to be trusted as Speaker.
But, the 15 votes to get him there will likely incredibly weaken his tenure and possible prematurely end his place as Speaker. So, Welcome to more dysfunctional government regarding the House of representatives at least.
