The main problem I have with churches and religions is that they make you fit inside a psychological box

 And what if you don't want to be in that box? or what if being in that box makes you untrue to your personal relationship with God?

In some ways I see my relationship with God sort of like being married to God inside my body. Why would I violate a personal relationship with God by giving ANY church or religion power over that?

It's sort of like letting the wife of your children sleep with other men. It violates your family and you too and brings elements that can kill your children and destroy everyone in the family in the short or long term.

So, if you let a church or religion violate your personal relationship with God often death or insanity awaits you!
