War is mostly worse than anything you could imagine (especially if you are in the middle of it in battle). Younger boys and men often think there is something glorious about uniforms and battles but the reality of it destroys people with PTSD even if they survive the battle or war. In one sense no one comes out of war or battle unscathed for life.

There are no winners really among the soldiers if they had to kill people in reality and not in a video game. Everyone who has to kill people has nightmares about it the rest of their lives, sometimes(waking and sleeping both).
