Boeing is lkely having the same problem most companies in the U.S. are having:

which is the ability to obtain and retain quality employees after the Covid years.

There is a reason that unemployment is so low which is the covid years both in the number of deaths from the over 45 year old crowd but also in all their relatives and friends who don't want to just be another death statistic.

So, the biggest change to the work force is in the over 45 crowd of people who mostly will not work in offices or around other people much because they don't want to get Covid, or RSV or a killer flu or otehr pandemic disease and die or become incapacittated for long periods or permanently.

So, Boeing (like all companies in the U.S. is likely facing quality employee deficits just like all companies in the U.S. are too.

Two of my relatives worked for Boeing in Seattle but are well past retirement age now
