It seems like the way to handle the Emergency exit door is to just install the door on all 737s configured like this

 The Make do? window doesn't seem to work properly so maybe just put an emergency door there like it is designed for in the first place? This makes more sense to me than putting a window where an emergency door is designed to be.

Either that or don't cut an emergency door hole, just cut a window hole which could take this kind of pressure abuse more easily.
