Around 6:15 pm pt we got a tornado warning on the Northern California coast. I contacted several people in the area and one of them is a retired Army Ranger who was able to find out that the Tornado Cloud had hit in Prunedale and was heading towards Aromas and San Juan Batista and Hollister here in California. Will wonders never cease.
This goes along a lot with the 190 mph gusts in the Sierras and blizzards and white outs. So, our version of this crazy storm is cloudbursts of rain periodically with huge raindrops like in tropical climates and then the sun sometimes comes out for a moment and then a cloudburst again. So, for a little while until we got the all clear over our Cell phones my daughter and I and my wife and our dog moved into a hallway bathroom that doesn't have any windows looking out that could break and cause flying glass.
What was really strange that made us take all this more seriously was just about the time of the cell phone warning we got a huge gust that made our windows shake and our flue to our fireplace bang. So, we decided to move into one of our bathrooms that doesn't have an outside window so there wouldn't be flying glass which is one of the big problems if there is a tornado anywhere.
