However, the good side of this is that fire season is likely pushed further and further down the road especially along the coast of California, Oregon and Washington. However, inland in Canada is a whole other story as people in states downwind of them already know from all the smoke blowing into northeastern US States.

I just looked at the North American Smoke map and actually the smoke is mostly in Canada now from Canadian fires.
However, there are some fires burning now in Southern Oregon that I noticed.
So, the coolness has brought in the fog a lot along the northern California coast all the way inland as far as King City and other inland regions where there are a lot of farms. But, this also will tend to prevent fires a lot there too.
When I drove north last Saturday from Santa Barbara through San Ardo just south of King City on 101 it was 95 degrees last Saturday. This Saturday in San Ardo will be 80 and Sunday 84 which is 10 degrees or more cooler than last Saturday which will also help prevent wildfires there too.
So, at least for the time being there are very few fires in California but some in Oregon in the southern part.
