I have watched SNL which was called Saturday night live before the abbreviation set in since the mid 1970s with Chevy Chase and John Belushi and all the others and Dan Akroyd etc. I think I was around 26 or 27 when it first started in likely 1974. I just heard in a video attached to this article that it actually started on October 11th 1975. So, I would have been 27 years old and married with a 1 year old son then living in likely San Diego County then.
