If the millions without power from Florida to Tennessee have a generator they might be okay:

However, the power outages are so far and wide that gas stations and grocery stores might not all have electricity either unless they too have generators and resupplying food and gas with no roads open could also be a problem so there might be no gas at a certain point unless people have personally stored large amounts of gasoline and non-perishable food. So, I think things might get pretty extreme some places in the near or further future between Florida and Tennessee. But, the temperatures most places like North Carolina seem to be mild enough to survive okay even without power or without a wood stove or wood to burn in a fireplace. So, potable water and food and gasoline are likely going to be some of the worst problems to overcome from Florida to Tennessee.

So, basically the people without gasoline or diesel Generators who can get more gas when their gas runs out likely will be eating a lot of canned food and macaroni and spaghetti without milk or meats unless they are jerky for some time. But, since potable water isn't happening most places this also could be a problem too.
