There are people who are Cult like for rock and roll groups of the 1970s on up to the present. There are cult like followings for Jazz and classical and also opera singers and bands associated with many different things.
There is a cult like following for artists like Pablo Picasso and other artists.
I think maybe the definition is people who get obsessed with any other person or group and there are more than 100 people like this in the world (for any one figure or any one group). So, those 100 or more people would be considered to be a cult but maybe they wouldn't be considered to be a religion but more involved in a cult like following of an artist or musician or group.
For example, Trump is the first President to have a Cult like following who believe in him even when he is obviously destroying our democracy every single day.
So, why can't they see that Trump is turning our democracy into the laughing stock of the world and also into a dictatorship without ANY human rights at all for anyone,(especially for anyone who isn't lily white?)
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
