All the things that caused wars like different competing religions, ethnocentrism, racism, bigotry, the war between men and women, is coming back with a vengeance through the technology we see every day of the Technological Singularity we are now experiencing full force with examples like Trump, Putin, Xi, Kim Jong Un etc.
All the mitigating factors of a liberal education are being overcome by Social media groups who ONLY listen to their own point of view and thereby incite hatred and violence against anyone not thinking exactly like them worldwide.
So, all the things that created all the major wars down through history including World war I and the nuclear War World war II are being created once again through Social media extremists around the world.
And unfortunately, Trump is one of these self centered extremists who don't believe in human rights but only "Their own rights" which always lead to death and to wars without limit ongoing on into the future.
We had a short break from all this since about the time that President Kennedy was assassinated and liberal thinking of embracing your neighbor instead of killing them became popular through ideas like the Peace Corps and other such ideas that brought the whole world together.
But now, Trump is likely going to be responsible for 250 million deaths this century and and all their children that don't get born too.
And paradoxically somehow this also prevents human extinction between 2080 and 2090.
I suppose one could look at all this as "Survival of the Fittest" and maybe this is one point of view.
One could look at all this as "Natural Selection" and that would be a somewhat similar point of view too.
However, in the end one must be realistic and see that millions and likely billions now this century will either die or not be born because of the technological singularity turning us all against each other through various types of ethnic, racist, and xenophobic writings around the world which is going to cause millions and possibly billions of human deaths the rest of this century.
Can one blame Trump for this?
No. I blame the Technological Singularity for which we all are responsible for letting this happen at this point!
In this sense we all need to take personal responsibility for all the deaths now and into the future caused by us allowing the Technological Singularity to take place worldwide this century!
We are all to blame for this! All 8 billion of us!
World leaders are ALL only reflections of the people worldwide!
All these racist and xenophobic deaths are on all our heads for allowing the Technological Singularity to happen in the first place!
Later: As I thought about this more I realized what I have said is not exactly right.
What actually is true is that the xenophobic among us are killing each other faster and faster in various ways. The non-xenophobic are just doing their own thing and not causing trouble.
So, basically what is likely to happen is the non-xenophobic among us will inherit the earth while the xenophobic all kill each other around the world in various ways.
This is likely what Jesus meant when he said: "The meek shall inherit the Earth".
