Why Help take care of family and Friends?

Though you might be physically well now you likely won't always be. So, as you help take care of family and friends it is likely then they will help take care of you. As you make yourself useful to your family and friends it ups your chances of survival if you become ill or have an accident that you don't expect. Remember, accidents aren't just physical injuries, they can also be devastating breakups or deaths of loved ones that you just aren't going to get over anytime soon. So, sometimes the internal pain of loss is worse than physically having to go to the hospital in what it can do to your lives.

So, at these times it is very important to have loved ones both friends and family to help you through all these times of pain and loss as well as physical accidents and injuries as well as actual infirmaties that you might encounter.

For example, in 2015 when my appendix burst I likely wouldn't be alive without friends and family helping me and recently this year without support I also would have died from not understanding how important a diuretic had become to my survival.

If you are taking spironolactone for edema just know that eventually this drug goes sideways for people (usually within 5 years) and that you will have to change to another one or likely you will die soon. I didn't know any of this at the time because no one told me and it wasn't obvious to me. So, when spironolactone went sideways i just stopped taking it. The problem was that appointments with my heart specialist were impossible to get and I didn't know my life was in jeopardy. So, by the time I got an appointment with my family practitioner I was within a day or two of having an emergency visit to the hospital and in danger of losing my life without understanding all of this at the time. This type of problem had never occurred in my life before. How was I to know this was happening to me? Now I'm fine after having been put on 60 mg of lasix a day. But, I came close to buying the farm which was pretty obvious to me at the time.

So, it is important to develop long lasting relationships with your significant other, your children, your friends and to help them because one day you will need their help too to extend your life and to stay alive ongoing into the future.

By God's Grace
