want to be enlightened? First make friends with yourself

Why?

There are only two paths to enlightenment.

On the first path you make friends with yourself and parent yourself the way you would have liked to have been raised.

On the 2nd path you make friends with others and help others thereby helping create your own enlightenment too.

However, remember this! If you don't keep your physical body alive you cannot become enlightened because you will be dead soon.

So, in some ways the first path makes more sense because you are more likely to keep yourselves alive if you make friends with yourselves first.

However, each of us is different in our motivations and interests.
