Because of this one factor, the right way to view all this is that the U.S., China and Russia have been at war since World War II ongoing. But, there will never be a nuclear war between these three powers because it ends life on earth. (unless someone completely crazy gets in power like Trump).
There are some who say that Trump is crazy like a fox. Well. My statement would be: "Only in an economic sense and only in regard to his own personal finances, not the world's"
Whereas Putin and Xi of China are ONLY about Power. They are beyond worrying about money because Putin is already personally the richest man on earth. And Xi is the most economically powerful man on earth.
So, Putin is about exacting revenge upon the U.S.
China does not have the problem Putin does in this sense.
China is interested in dominating world economics.
They see Trump as a flash in the pan and temporary and might even cause Trump's death at some point.
But, for now, Trump is an advantage strategically to China in that the reputation of the U.S. fails through Trump which increases China's power and prestige worldwide as one nation after the next turns against Trump worldwide.
So, as Putin exact's revenge on the Western world through Trump, XI becomes more powerful in China as Trump pisses off the whole world and turns them all against the U.S.
In the end Putin is to be feared less than Xi because Putin in the end is committing suicide for his country either way. The real danger here is Xi in China who has just elected himself as President of China for life.
Xi thereby demonstrates a life long danger throughout most of this century to the U.S., Europe and Putin and Russia as well as to the whole world.
