I had an anonymous email post from someone who is also worried about a world war caused by the present economic meltdown.
If one studies history one can see the direct correlation between the worldwide great depression and World War II. In fact, Hitler rose to power from the incredible desperation in Germany. So hunger and desperation could be said to have caused Hitler. When there is any kind of vacuum like "no food", tyrants can rise to power by playing upon the fears of the people. Once tyrants are in place thousands to millions tend to die. If you study history this one fact is obvious. Since the emailer suggested this site that he considered to be an important one I visited it and decided to share it here as well.
