UBS is a worldwide bank based in Switzerland. UBS losses of 37.4 billion dollars dwarf Citigroups 21.1 billion dollar loss. It is difficult to estimate the long and short term implications of these losses on all these institutions and their investors and savers worldwide, let alone the effects on smaller business and city and organizational portfolios worldwide.
