Horse throws two riders. A relative of mine was recently thrown from a relatively newly purchased horse. One of his other horses died from old age and so he bought a new one because he was told it would be good around children. However, it wasn't safe for anyone. So far it has put two people in the hospital who have ridden it including my relative. This relative of mine has been riding about 50 years so he is not new to riding horses and is a real horseman. So it wasn't his riding skills. It turns out that this horse once was a competition barrel riding horse and had injured its left hip. So that when a rider got on board it felt pain and considered the rider the cause of the pain and so killing the rider was the solution to the horse at this point in life.
The horse had been put out to pasture because of injuring others and then was bought by a horse trader and sold as a good horse for children. Just like checking the mileage on a used car and checking whether the car was in Hurricane Katrina or another flood is important, just so checking the history of a horse is important to so people don't die.
This horse should have been left out to pasture because it just wasn't safe to ride anymore by anyone. Making a buck needs to come second to saving peoples lives!
