1,000,000 personal computers data held for ransom ...
One of the many reasons I don't ever do online banking anymore is the above article. However, there actually are many more reasons than this. If you watch NBC Nightly News with Brian Williams tonight Wednesday February 4th 2015 you will see what has happened to millions of people who have had their computers taken over by Ransom software online by clicking usually on a trick email word button that they don't know is bogus and criminal. Banking online is sort of like playing Russian Roulette with your finances. You never know when all your accounts will be drained if someone discovers your personal computer bank password. If someone discovers this the bank is not liable.
It also might be useful to have a copy on an external hard drive of anything financial you might put on your online computer as well or even only do financial things on one computer that you then never take online ever in regard to your businesses or business transactions like buying something online.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
