While I was watching this movie one tends to get mesmerized and I got to thinking like a precognitive psychic sometimes does where glimpses of the future sometimes arise. It's not that what I see "HAS" to take place, it is that what I see often "DOES" take place. This is what I have noticed about the Time Space continuum that we presently live in.
In this moment I worried that if we are in a cycle where the 1861-1862 floods will take place within around 20 years from now (because there were droughts of 10 to 20 years preceding that last one), I was concerned that this extra weight of 300 miles by 20 miles of water approximately 30 to 1 feet deep might trigger quakes in the area.
For example, as the ice melts all over the earth this causes the shape of the earth itself to change because weight is displaced as the water disperses. This causes lower islands and lower elevation lands to be flooded.
Likewise, when you have flooding events over earthquake prone areas this extra weight, (especially if it stays there for 6 months or more) like it did during the last event might cause small or large earthquakes and make the situation even worse for local residents.
IF you imagine that we only live on the very top crust of the earth which is a relatively thin layer compared to the whole of the earth and in this range of the crust exists water in the ocean and lakes and as all the lands of the earth both above and below the oceans. So, like the crust of a piece of bread this crust is sort of like the skin of the earth which keep the magma (the blood of the earth) from spilling out upon everything and making the water boil and the lands temporarily hot until the magma on the surface is cooled by winds and water once again.
