I heard an interesting comment tonight on the news.
It basically was that if Trump does not continue to punish Putin and Russia for the harm they have done to the U.S. the country and the whole world both Republicans and Democrats, will know that Trump is Putin's stooge in the White House and the whole country will then turn against him knowing that.
So, if Trump keeps going the direction he's going now the country will tend to reject him and throw him out of office. In some ways the president is only ceremonial like the Queen of England. If he gets too far out of line in proving he is Putin's stooge by his actions he will soon be gone. It doesn't matter what he thinks in regard to this. The country, the Congress, the Supreme court and all the people just aren't going to put up with the level of eccentricity Trump has if he acts like Putin's stooge like he is doing now. In some ways the ONLY real power the president has is the bully pulpit and the nuclear codes. So, in Trump's vernacular Tweeting and nuking. So, if he starts tweeting and nuking in sequence he likely won't be president much longer.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
