Be the Change you want to see in the World

You cannot change the world you can only change yourselves in the end.

I'm sure you have heard about or seen pictures of Buddhists Burning themselves alive with Gasoline.

This is one way people take responsibility for the harm they see being done to mankind.

But, you might say burning yourself to death like that in public is crazy.

Maybe it is but it is a pure demonstration of taking responsibility personally for wrongs being done to those you care about.

It's not that I condone this, it is just an example of taking personal responsibility for changing the world to a better place.

So, the point is you might not be able to change the whole world but you can change yourself to be an example of what they world needs to see now.

So, taking personal responsibility for what you want to change is maybe the best example you can make of your own lives now.

Is killing others going to make the world a better place?

Killing just leads to more and more killing.

Will peaceful demonstrations help worldwide.

Now you are getting the idea. Think of how Ghandi changed India into a democracy through peaceful non-violent demonstrations and changed the ways things have been done on earth ever since.

So, how can you peacefully demonstrate to change the world to being what you want it to be?

This might be the question right here.

However, maybe writing about what is important is a way you can help.

Maybe talking to someone who doesn't understand some things will change their lives for the better.

Maybe making some kind of commitment will make the world a better place.

For example, in the early 1980s I made Ahimsa Vows not to kill anything even insects anymore. And I can trace the Infinite Grace in my life back to taking those vows here on earth.

Some times you have to break those vows just in practicality. However, if you are trying hard to not break your Ahimsa vows all life admires you and helps you naturally along the way.

For example, you don't always have to kill spiders, you can just escort them outside through a window or door like I do. Some it is not possible to do this with like Daddy longlegs because their legs fall off when you try to do this. But, most spiders if you speak with them calm down enough for you to get some kleanex or toilet paper to escort them outside where they can keep you from getting Zika Virus if they stay alive out there by killing mosquitos and flies and such. So, get spiders to help you stay alive. another thing I often do is I keep a male Daddy Long legs alive near my bedroom or bathroom often because they kill and eat all the other types of spiders and cannot bite through human skin to harm humans.

As  young man I often shot sidewinder rattlesnakes where my Dad's house was in the desert because we couldn't have them scuttling into our homes there because a Green mojave rattler (a sidewinder) is 9 times more poisonous than a Diamondback rattler so often people die from Green Mojave's because they don't get enough anti-venom fast enough.

But, after taking Ahimsa vows in the 1980s I stopped shooting anything anymore. I stopped killing everything big and small because this helps nature survive too if there are more creatures still alive in the wilds.

So, not only do you help yourself you also help nature in taking vows not to kill anything anymore. It makes your karma very very clean and you will find nature in all ways and God will help you in every way in your health in your wealth and in every way once you take these vows and honor them.

By God's Grace
