If you want to understand yourself better spend time in nature. Slowing down and not using media of any kind is important in learning who you really are. As long as you are addicted completely to media it is really hard to understand what it actually is to be a human. Because as a media hound: Iphone, computer, kindle, TV, Radio etc. you actually aren't functioning as humans did for thousands of years without these things. So, what you tend to become being addicted to all this is not what I consider to be human actually at all.
It's sort of like Gluten in wheat. Humans have ONLY been eating gluten for 10,000 years and that's all.
So, all media is an adaptation just like Wheat is an adaptation too for human beings.
So, some adaptations can be positive sometimes.
But, too much of any good thing can be a bad thing.
For example, remember when you were a child and wanted to eat ice cream all day. But then, one day you did and got sick from it?
It's like that. Some things are good some times but not all the time.
So, taking a break from media or Gluten might change the way you see yourselves and the world.
After all, you are what you eat.
And in regard to Media "You are what you think and feel too".
So, for me, whenever I can walk through a forest with no one around I'm happy.
Today the Thimble Berries were ripe in the wilds where I was and I was happy eating wild thimble berries and communing with the plants in the forest.
However you can find clarity to see your way forward this might be a useful time to do it before it is to late.
