The Republicans were relentless in trying to assassinate the Character of Peter Strzok. I was amazed at the way this went. I have never seen a Congressional hearing before that I was this embarrassed by as an American citizen. It shows how bad the partisanship in the U.S. is. What horrified me the most was that Republicans seemed to be more interested in their own re-elections than the survival of this our American democracy. This was pretty obvious throughout this mockery of a hearing.
It makes me worry that Putin has already won in turning us against each other. That's what I took away from this congressional hearing was that Putin may have already destroyed our country.
This is a sad moment for all Americans if they witnessed what I witnessed today.
