When people's lives actually make some sense to them often they will drift away from thinking they need God in their lives here in the western World where we believe in God more than some places.
So, my thought is as life gets more and more uncertain this century in this age of global warming, floods, fires, droughts etc. that people will tend to believe and ask help from God more as their lives become more and more unpredictable this century.
The saying "There are no atheists in Foxholes" might be the appropriate one here.
I think trying to look at this as either a good thing or a bad thing isn't useful at all.
More likely it could be considered a "Necessary thing" in order to keep body and mind alive and functioning at all.
It's about survival in the short and long run and seeing it as people finding a way to survive likely would be the most useful view regarding all this.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
