Suicide because they couldn't deal with waiting to be nuked.
Suicide by joining the army to die in Viet Nam in the war there.
Suicide by driving cars too fast drunk or on drugs.
Suicide because a relationship didn't work out.
This last one almost took me out to by the way.
I was one of the lucky ones. I didn't have to go die in Viet Nam or wander the streets the rest of my life with PTSD like many many of my compatriots.
I was one of the lucky ones to be able to live my life, have my children, start my businesses and then eventually retire.
I was one of the lucky ones as I watched my friends self destruct one by one throughout the 1960s and 1970s especially.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
