Many people (especially retired ones) have been "Hibernating" this last year

What do Bears do when the snows come? They dig a hole in the snow or dirt and go to sleep for the winter. What do people who have resources (they don't have to work) do when a coronavirus or other pandemic comes? The sleep a lot until it is over.

However, the other side of this is you have to get enough exercise to keep going too and to be sure to eat really healthy food to keep your immune system strong. So, even though you might sleep more waiting for this coronavirus era to be over (sort of like waiting for World war II to be over) and you try to occupy yourself with interests closer to home like gardening or writing or art or music until it's safe to go to where people are once again.

As a result you notice that the people dying are younger now mostly from 30 to 50 years of age because most of the people over 65 have now been vaccinated in the U.S.

The other thing to be aware of (we are thinking about this too) is you have 209 days (for sure) of being immune (at least to the first version of the coronavirus) if not all the variants. It is still unknown what variants you are immune to 2 weeks after you have your second vaccination or 2 weeks after your single Johnson and Johnson Vaccination.

So, until you are 2 weeks after your last vaccination you too might be "Hibernating" especially if you are already retired.
