It's very strange to be here on September 12th and still having the "June Glooms" of the Bay area

When I first moved here in 1985 from Mt. Shasta to this area of the Greater SF Bay area the June Glooms were the June glooms in that they only usually occurred in June and ended by July.

Whereas now here it started in April of 2021 and is still going on almost 6 months later. Now, the June Glooms on the coast are definitely stopping forest fires along the coast even while inland in the Sierras fires are still out of control a lot. So, we have several climates now in California that are markedly different than the ones 40 or so years ago.

And strangely enough even here in September my Deck along the coast on the ocean is wet still from the Coastal Drizzle from the high Fog still happening here almost to the middle of September of 2021 even right now at almost noon on September 12th 2021 Sunday.
