Loving Others as yourself. Having compassion for all beings. Giving yourself and others a chance to live in peace. Finding a way forward that is good for everyone.
This is what this day means to me as a person here on earth.
Though it's true it is an ideal, it is what civilization is all about in the beginning in the middle and in the end.
