When there are no consequences enough in people's lives they often get angry and get a gun to resolve things when this wouldn't have happened in the 1950s or early 1960s. Why?
Because consequences were swift in the 1950s and 1960s when I grew up. Consequences were not and never nice but they were swift. People who didn't fit in for any reason were beat up and put in hospitals and people who harmed others were often killed and buried in back yards or under houses.
Now there are no consequences really to ANY behavior in life really.
Even though the system before was horrific it kept people from going off and killing each other like now.
So, am I advocating going back to the "Law of the Jungle?" Not really.
I'm simply saying what we did before worked better in keeping order in society than what is presently happening.
So, what I'm saying is what we are doing now isn't better it's just different and it obviously ISN"T WORKING!
