Even at 8 or 9 am this morning it was still only 48 degrees which is very unusual for here on the Central Coast of California. And tonight it is supposed to go down to 43 degrees. However, within 10 to 20 miles inland the temperatures might go down to below freezing also. I just talked to a friend in the Mt. Shasta area and he said it was then 22 degrees Fahrenheit there this morning as well.
I just looked at Lake Tahoe and it is presently 29 degrees Fahrenheit as of Noon on Sunday right now which seems pretty low a temperature too. However, the snow storm hitting the Sierras is now in Arizona or New Mexico by now.
