WINTER STORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM 4 PM THIS AFTERNOON TO 10 PM PST SATURDAY ABOVE 3500 FEET

* WHAT...Heavy snow expected above 3500 feet. Total snow
accumulations of 8 to 20 inches. Winds gusting as high as 35
mph over exposed terrain.

* WHERE...Elevations above 3500 feet in south Central Siskiyou
County. This includes Snowmans Summit and Dead Horse Summit on
highway 89, Black Butte Pass on I-5, and Mt Shasta Ski Park.

* WHEN...From 4 PM Friday to 10 PM PST Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The
hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow levels will increase from 2500 feet
Thursday night up to 5500 feet Saturday.
