I got out the beach umbrella and put it in a hole in the glass table built for this sort of thing. The sun is becoming brighter every day since the rains stopped (at least for now) which have been raining a few days a week since Christmas. But, we likely have enough rain in California to make it to next fall because often it doesn't rain at all after April or may until at least September or October but with Global Warming almost anything is possible. Hurricane Hilary turned into Tropical Storm Hilary last summer and dropped 10 inches of rain on Palm springs while heading north and turned that place into a mud sandy area with quicksand that was impossible to drive into or out of for several days until the water subsided and road crew cleared away the mud and rocks. Then the storm headed north to mt. Shasta where it created a whole new mud slid which now happens starting from Hidden valley up on mt. Shasta (at around 10,000 feet or higher and takes mud an rocks and small trees on down the mountain into the town almost every large rainstorm now which costs the city of mt. Shasta around 30,000 dollars cleaning this up from the High School parking lot and the Junior High School Playing ground. So, this is just one of the effects of ongoing extreme climate changes ongoing.
However, here today it's beautiful and everything seems perfect weather wise. It's present a nice 62 degrees going to 68 degrees here on the coast of Northern California 1 mile from the ocean. A truly beautiful clear and magnificent day!
