Electric Vehicles never were a permanent answer to the problems of Earth's ecology

 They always were sort of like a bandaid. I think this is the best way to say it. They pollute the water and land when their batteries are recycled. The electrical radiation from EV Motors and Hybrid motors and generators are unhealthy for humans especially children. So, they are like a bandaid in that we are burning less gasoline and diesel driving Electric Vehicles and hybrids. However, we are also as we recycle the batteries into the ground polluting our waters whether that be lakes or rivers or streams or the oceans. So, as we help the air a little we pollute the water and earth more. 

So, even though we help the air it doesn't permanently solve our problems either regarding global Climate changes.

So, what I'm saying here is that Electrical Vehicles are basically a failure because they cannot do what they are advertised to do.

So, what is the solution?

I think this is the question we really need to be asking and not pretending that Electrical Vehicles were ever really any kind of permanent solution, especially in the cold and snow which is where electrical vehicles fail and also in moist wet places that are humid where moisture gets into electrical components of one kind or another.

We have had over 120 years to experiment with Gasoline and Diesel Engines and it might take another 120 years for us to ever get electrical vehicles or hybrids where they were more of a help than a hurt to human survival. This is my thought at present but I'm open to learning more every day.
